The First Lady of Machakos county Lilian Ng’ang’a has refrained from being drawn into accusations of being a husband snatcher.
Ms Ng’ang’a is the second wife of Governor Alfred Mutua and has often been subjected to condemnations on social media for breaking up his first family.

Last week, the condemnations erupted afresh on Twitter, with a user accusing her of hypocrisy.

But Ms Ng’ang’a responded by telling the user to focus on a more ‘beneficial’ engagement.
Instead of talkin abt things that u don't know about,U shud be sharing ideas on how 2empower women.Much beneficial! https://t.co/GLl1yxihJ4

Undeterred, the user told Ms Ng’ang’a that her role in advocacy for women’s rights cannot wash away the accusations.
You can't be just by being unjust.@OkatsoJackline @odanga23 @AgolaLinda @tinaokore @jimmymwangyy254 Bring it on https://t.co/YbDoyOJ9KR

To which she responded.

Governor Mutua and his first wife, Dr Josephine Thitu, divorced and have been embroiled in a acrimonious tussle over the custody of their three children.
Dr Thitu, a pharmacist, also claims ownership of the couple’s house in Westlands.

The governor at one point attempted to block Dr Thitu from leaving the country with their three children for a vacation in 2014.
Governor Mutua is on record for dismissing the reports as lies.
